You have Committed to Sustainability now what?

In the last few years retailers and manufacturers have made impressive commitments to reduce the packaging used, use more recycled content, design packaging to be recyclable and explore reusable packaging. Now What? In this presentation Target Alum Kim Carswell will discuss her key learnings and how to shift from committing to doing.

Kim Carswell has 40 years of packaging experience working at great companies such as Target, General Mills and Kraft Foods. Today Kim is consulting in the sustainable packaging space helping companies reduce the impact of their packaging on the planet by understanding the value of goals, a clear strategy, internal engagement and understanding, external collaboration and leveraging data to inform the work. Emerging packaging legislation is redefining sustainable packaging goals not as voluntary commitments, but as a license to operate. Kim’s network across the packaging value chain is deep and insightful and she brings that to the work she does. Collaborating and learning from one another is a key accelerator in making progress
