2020 has been an unprecedented year, with the Private Brand industry demonstrating strength, agility, and innovation in the face of the global pandemic. It’s with that spirit that My Private Brand is excited to announce our preliminary plans for 2021.
Our plans double the number of events — including four topic-specific online Summits and the annual Vertex Awards. The lineup focuses on the most compelling areas for the industry.

2021 begins with the 8th Annual Vertex Awards. The competition is the only global competition devoted exclusively to the art of Private Brand package design. The competition has always been a digital-first experience, which has enabled more than 2,500 entries from 53 countries to enter and win over the last eight years. The award winners will be celebrated in May at the My Private Brand Design Summit.
The Vertex Awards is open for entries through January 31, 2021.

In mid-October, we fielded research that asked My Private Brand readers and Velocity attendees about the topics they are most interested in, as well as the format and timing of virtual events. Your feedback helped to define our 2021 plans.
Today I am excited to announce the launch of three innovative live online Summits and the return of our wildly successful My Private Brand Sustainability Summit. Each Summit is a purpose-built digitally native experience designed to help the industry connect, discuss the latest trends, and shape the future private brand.
Each Summit will feature an exclusive lineup of retail executives and influential thought leaders discussing pressing challenges, emerging trends, and opportunities the topic presents for the entire industry. As a result of your feedback, each Summit will be held over two days from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm EST.
