Global design agency, Equator, has appointed Rachel Johnson as the company’s new Global Managing Director (MD). She will have responsibility for all the company’s studios worldwide, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Manchester, Nottingham, Sydney as well as new locations due to join the network in 2023, along with a goal of delivering ambitious growth. Sandra Farwell has joined the Retail-owned Brand (private label) consultancy IPLC. Based in Toronto, Canada she will open the office in the position of Partner Northern America. Sandra has over 30 years of experience in the international Retail-owned Brand (private label) industry, leading buying and private brand teams across food and non-food categories. Sandra started as a food buyer at Marks & Spencer and then moved over to Loblaw Companies in Canada, where she progressed to Senior Director of Merchandising. CVS Health names Amy Bricker becomes Chief Product Officer – Consumer

CVS Health announced this week two executive appointments. Amy Bricker has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer – Consumer while David Joyner will rejoin the company as Executive Vice President and President of Pharmacy Services "David and Amy are accomplished leaders with proven track records of anticipating and meeting customer and client needs," said CVS Health President and CEO Karen S. Lynch. "David has deep experience in pharmacy benefit management that will help us deliver on our growth strategy for the business." Target Leads 10 Fastest Growing Private Brands Of 2022

Another year has come and gone, and in preparation for 2023, market research company Numerator looked back at the top brands of 2022, including Retail-owned Brands (private label.) Three of the ten fastest-growing Retail-owned Brands (private brands) of 2022 are Target brands. Target home organization brand, Brightroom, tops the list, while Mondo Llama and Favorite Day rank among the top ten. The following brands showed the greatest sales increase from 2021 while holding at least 5% household penetration. Velocity Institute Takes Broadway!

Monday night, Rethink Retail hosted their RETHINKRetailBash 2023 at the fabulous Edison Ballroom in the heart of New York City’s Broadway. The event was held during National Retail Federation’s (NRF) annual tradeshow “Retail’s Big Show”.
