This morning Bed Bath & Beyond hosted its first Investor Day to unveil the details of a plan to grow as it rebuilds. The retailer also provided a three-year financial roadmap and capital allocation framework. The plan included a significant commitment to private brand. Over the next 18 months, Bed Bath & Beyond expects to launch over 10 new private brands in key destination categories with the goal of tripling the penetration of private brand within its assortment over three years.
