Tesco Removes 1.5 billion Pieces of Plastic

British retailer Tesco has now removed more than one and a half billion pieces of plastic from its UK business since it launched its 4Rs – Remove, Reduce, Re-use, Recycle - packaging strategy. In the last 12 months, 500 million more pieces of unnecessary plastic have been identified and removed. Walmart Creates Science-Based Targets for Supply Chain Finance Program

Walmart today raised the bar on climate action by creating a supply chain finance program that not only enables greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions, but for the first time, uses science-based targets to do so in a way that aims for a 1.5-degree Celsius pathway.
