That is why Delhaize is launching 4 innovative pasta and rice Retail Brand (private brand) products based on 100% fresh vegetables. Zucchini spaghetti, tricolor spaghetti, cauliflower rice and broccoli rice. These are the four products that can help consumers get their daily amount of vegetables.
By means of these carbohydrate substitutes, Delhaize wants to help consumers achieve the target of eating at least 250 grams of vegetables. The zucchini spaghetti, cauliflower rice, broccoli rice and tricolor spaghetti, which consists of a mixture of yellow carrot, orange carrot and zucchini, make it easier to make healthier choices and reduce food waste.
These four products consist of 100% vegetables, whereby the stem of the vegetable is also used for the cauliflower and broccoli rice. In this way, Delhaize contributes to reducing food waste.
In addition to these four products, the customer can also find pumpkin lasagna sheets and sweet potato fries in the fridge with fruit and vegetables, for those who like to give up the classic dishes.
