The Private Brands Creative Team is an in-house creative center of excellence providing end-to-end brand design and creative support for amazon products sold in digital and physical retail. We incorporate design strategy, experience, create solutions, and conduct explorative studies within defined business constraints. We strive to build global brands that connect with their needs, in moments that matter.

A day in the life

The role imagines and develops concepts at one time, executed on multiple projects for our brands. You are an advocate that drives solutions while developing and maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships. You utilize knowledge of design and cultural trends to guide solutions. After co-creating project briefs, within a design ecosystem, your affinity for typography and design details with communication hierarchy is complemented by strong presentation skills. You want to be part of a close-knit, highly engaged team who values collaboration and shares a quest for creative excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in a Design role, at least 2 of which involve experience with strategic/team leadership
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite—specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop—on Mac OS
  • Work samples online or as PDF, including at least 3 multi-component projects which demonstrate a dedication to high-quality creative, design details, and strategic vision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Ability to problem-solve, support, and collaborate with other team members effectively
  • Deep knowledge of typography, graphic design – expert in Adobe Creative Suite and the latest design tools
  • In-depth knowledge of design strategy and building brand experiences
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel-path projects
  • Understand goals (marketing or business) and work with team to build design ecosystems that are customer-obsessed and detail-oriented
  • Use data and insights to build designs that resonate across brand experiences for multiple platforms (including packaging/retail)
  • Proven experience with rapid, iterative design thinking processes
  • You bring design thinking, creative concepts and visual excellence to inspire partners and team members to raise the creative bar
  • You are passionate about design, technology and product experiences – always keeping pace with an unfailing passion and advocacy for our customers

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $141,000 – 190,000/yr.; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
