The Velocity Institute is excited to launch the inaugural Velocity BOLD Awards—a first-of-its-kind initiative showcasing the boldest and most innovative retailers, manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers in the retailer-owned brand industry.

Our goal is to celebrate the achievements of BOLD leaders, showcase transformative innovations, and motivate the industry to reach new heights by recognizing BOLD actions, BOLD strategies, and BOLD growth. These awards honor the industry leaders who refuse to settle for second place, driving progress with courage and vision.

The Velocity BOLD Awards are open to individuals and companies—including retailers, manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers—that contribute to the success and innovation of private brands. Whether you are disrupting the status quo or driving meaningful growth, we want to recognize your efforts.

Christopher Durham is the president of the Velocity Institute. Prior to this he founded the groundbreaking site My Private Brand. He is the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He began his retail career building brands at Food Lion and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Durham has worked with retailers around the world, including Albertsons, Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro Canada.
