Daymon Opens up Supplier Portal to the Market

Daymon, announced this week that it has opened up its Supplier Portal to the open market. Previously, brand development agencies like Daymon or customers supported by Daymon relied on direct communication relaying capacity, credentials, and contacts to develop Private Brands at retailers. Within the past ten years, Daymon began digitizing this type of information within a searchable database to ensure their North American and Global sourcing teams are capturing the knowledge of customer RFP processes, hot trends, or opportunistic pioneering efforts. With this knowledge on hand, they were able to more accurately track product development or contract manufacturing considerations with ready and willing manufacturers, importers, or other sources of supply to increase speed to market.

The release of the Daymon Supplier Portal marks an evolution in supplier connections, facilitating organizations across the world in participating within the product discovery journey. The Supplier Portal was designed to help manufacturers digitize their vital public information, guaranteeing current and prospective business partners are properly represented within the system, ensuring all opportunities—both short and long-term—are identified and made available in a timely and effective manner. This proprietary tool is aimed at driving business for both manufacturers, retailers, and other trading partners.

“The Supplier Portal is our way of relaying recent, relevant and reliable information in an
easy-to-use platform,” said Kyle Patterson, Vice President of Client Services at Daymon.
“Bringing our customers the most effective practices for getting products to shelf is how Daymon has done business over the last 51 years – providing support that is driven by people and augmented by technology.”
