By popular request and for the real fans, Ahold Delhaize’s Dutch retailer Albert Heijn is introducing a limited edition Retail Brand (private brand) clothing range. In addition to their daily shopping, customers can now also go to Albert Heijn for a hip summer look. Ideal for a festival, holiday or day at the beach. The collection is available in limited edition.
BCI cotton
The collection consists of a Hawaii shirt, jog shorts, socks, a sweater and a fisherman’s hat. All items have a retro Albert Heijn logo and are available from 2.99 euros. The entire collection is produced with BCI cotton. BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) works together with development organizations, environmental organizations and various companies to make cotton cultivation more sustainable.
Johan van der Zanden, director of marketing and communication: “It is great that, in addition to their daily shopping, customers can also go to Albert Heijn for a summer outfit with the recognizable AH logo. This is one of the oldest unchanged logos in the Netherlands. Nice to see how this is reflected in the limited edition clothing line, especially for all fans.”
Blue: sustainable clothing for the whole family
The limited edition collection is part of Albert Heijn’s new clothing and home textile brand called ‘Blue’. The collection includes fashionable and affordable clothing for women, men and kids and bed and bathroom textiles. Like the limited edition collection, the entire line is produced with BCI cotton.
The limited edition collection will be available from Monday 4 July at all AH stores and via ah.nl. While stocks last.
