Tesco Acquires Paperchase Brand
British retailer Tesco has acquired the brand and intellectual property of Paperchase, after the struggling stationery retailer collapsed into administration. The retailer will add the brand to its portfolio of Retailer-owned Brands. However, the purchase does not include Tesco the 106 stores across the UK and Ireland. Late last week United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) announced the expansion of its Wild Harvest private brand organic produce line with more than 40 new offerings available nationwide. Since its 2022 launch, the Wild Harvest organic produce range has enjoyed significant growth as consumers have come to rely on the brand for their eating occasions. Rachel Johnson named new Global Managing Director at Equator Design
Global design agency, Equator, has appointed Rachel Johnson as the company’s new Global Managing Director (MD). She will have responsibility for all the company’s studios worldwide, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Manchester, Nottingham, Sydney as well as new locations due to join the network in 2023, along with a goal of delivering ambitious growth. CVS Health names Amy Bricker becomes Chief Product Officer – Consumer
CVS Health announced this week two executive appointments. Amy Bricker has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer – Consumer while David Joyner will rejoin the company as Executive Vice President and President of Pharmacy Services "David and Amy are accomplished leaders with proven track records of anticipating and meeting customer and client needs," said CVS Health President and CEO Karen S. Another year has come and gone, and in preparation for 2023, market research company Numerator looked back at the top brands of 2022, including Retail-owned Brands (private label.) Three of the ten fastest-growing Retail-owned Brands (private brands) of 2022 are Target brands. Target home organization brand, Brightroom, tops the list, while Mondo Llama and Favorite Day rank among the top ten.
